More Than Bootstraps (MTB) builds a community of first-generation, underrepresented students who empower each other to access and succeed in higher education. Founder Audrey Fisch and I worked together on the inaugural Impact Report and this second report was built on the deep-dive we did last time.
For this report we applied lessons learned from the first report, including feedback from readers of that inaugural report. Throughout the process we focused on principles of successful impact reporting including clarity, accessibility, transparency, accountability, verifiability, and proportionality. The finished report successfully addresses need, activity, outcomes, evidence, and lessons learned. You can view the full report on the MTB website.
For this report, I had the opportunity to mentor a junior designer who volunteers with MTB. I worked with them to determine the overall visual look of the report and they assisted with creation of a couple of pages and creative feedback.
