More Than Bootstraps (MTB) builds a community of first-generation, underrepresented students who empower each other to access and succeed in higher education. I spent three months working with founder Audrey Fisch to layout the impact that MTB has had on the community since its launch in 2020.
This was the inaugural impact report for MTB, which meant that we needed to take a deep-dive into the full life of the program and find the voice that would tell the MTB story. I offered consultation on how to present MTB's program and impact to successfully provide clarity and transparency to funders, stakeholders, and interested community. Throughout the process we focused on principles of successful impact reporting including clarity, accessibility, transparency, accountability, verifiability, and proportionality.
