Long-Range Facility Plans are public-facing documents that school districts often use to garner funds from the public (think school bonds on the ballot). When I joined IBI Group, the architects were creating reports using Microsoft Word. Under my direction, the marketing department took over the report process. This is the first report, and the template and process were refined after this initial report. The main catalyst for this change is that the document is a representation of our work and can be used as a marketing tool. Additionally, the more clear and easy to read the documents are, the more likely it is that the public can make a confident decision on the funding.
This district was able to secure their largest bond in history.
