This fun project was part of a Moonstruck product expansion in response to an explosion that closed down one of their main locations. A new Moonstruck chocolate truck was created to sell some current Moonstruck products, but to also launch and sell a brand new product...speciality ice cream!
A flexible menu was needed for the truck so that it could be updated every season, but also be able to show when items were out of order. We decided on a magnetic board to house the menu. The menu itself is a large magnet that could be reprinted seasonally at a reasonable price. "Sold out" and other variable small magnets could be used to cover up menu changes that happen during the business day.
My favorite part of this project was designing a set of illustrations to go with the launch of the truck. The illustrations were meant to match fun aspects of the Moonstruck brand while being flexible for use on social media, in marketing, on the menu, and in any capacity we might need. The illustrations break down the components of the new ice cream bars: ice cream bar flavors, dips, and toppings.
Used on the menu, they allow the customers to visually understand the way that the ice cream bars are put together and attract your attention and interest from further away.
The illustration kit contained multiple toppings and flavors that allowed for a variety of combinations for use in social media posts, advertisements, etc.
I created a lot of advertisements for the new truck, utilizing a consistent look and feel to match the truck's branding.
