The World of Speed development team approached us about creating a look and feel for an upcoming gala fundraiser that would become a yearly event. The inaugural theme would be loosely based upon the 1973 film, American Graffiti. This fun retro-themed collateral was designed to evergreen enough to last for years to come and include elements of the overall World of Speed visual identity.
The packet was given to every table host and included invitations to be distributed to their guests. The event was 60s diner themed and each packet included a recorded message by a "radio dj" who would also be emceeing the event. The interior was meant to look like a record player and the corresponding invitations were also records. The images below walk you through the packet and user experience upon opening. The backside of the packet didn't have specific content so I suggested that with the record theme we should include "greatest hits" -- stats related to the museum.

A variety of themes were explored before settling on just the right vibe for the event.
