More Than Bootstraps (MTB) builds a community of first-generation, underrepresented students who empower each other to access and succeed in higher education. Founder Audrey Fisch and I started our work together during a deep-dive we did to produce the inaugural Annual Report. This is our third Annual Report collaboration (the second one can be found here) and we used it as a platform to introduce some branding changes we rolled out at this same time. This report uses an updated color palette and a new "handwritten" font.
We applied lessons learned from the first two reports, including feedback from readers and stakeholders. Throughout the process we focused on principles of successful impact reporting including clarity, accessibility, transparency, accountability, verifiability, and proportionality. The finished report successfully addresses need, activity, outcomes, evidence, and lessons learned. You can view the full report on the MTB website.
